Linux Hardware Scanner is a Windows client program which scans a remote Linux server and retrieves a full list of hardware It provides detailed information on the hardware configuration of the machine. It can report exact memory configuration, firmware version, mainboard configuration, CPU version and speed, cache configuration, bus speed, etc. on DMI-capable x86 or EFI (IA-64) systems and on some PowerPC machines (PowerMac G4 is known to work).
Everything is done automatically with just a few clicks. NO COMMAND line is required.

Secure Connection

All information passed to and from Linux server is done over a secure SSH2 protocol. Passwords are never stored or transmitted in a clear form. You must have SSH server installed.

Password protection

When you add hosts to the server tree, you can specify your root login and password. Our program either does not store login and password, or store them encrypted. You specify the password and the program asks for it every time at the startup.

Auto Installation

Hardware Scanning Engine can be deployed to the remote host automatically. You need only to confirm the installation. The rest is compiled and installed by our program. However if you want you can install it manually.
